The broadcast airs on Sirius satellite radio’s BPM channel starting May 5th.

Japanese fashion designer Kenzo Takada will auction off some of the art that inspired his East-meets-West style, as he trades his plush Paris mansion for smaller digs on the Seine River.

From Hopi Kachina dolls to bronze Buddhas, more than 1,000 pieces acquired over the past two decades will be on the block at the June 16-17 sale organized by Aguttes auction house.

The catalog isn't finished yet because Kenzo is hesitating about which objects to keep.
But most of the collection will have to go. Kenzo has sold the Japanese-style wooden house that he built in 1987 in the courtyard of an apartment building near Paris' Place de la Bastille, and will move into a Left Bank apartment about one-quarter that size this summer.

"After 20 years in this house, I wanted to turn the page and live lighter," said Kenzo. "Sometimes when I'm here alone, it's far too big". Star lots include a goddess statuette from Thailand made of near-pure gold and Chinese wooden sculpture of a horse.

In total the auction is expected to fetch euro1.5 million-euro 2 million.

Each sip would have been worth hundreds of Euros at auction, according to the Head of the International Wine Department at Sotheby`s, Serena Sutcliffe MW, who co-hosted the tasting with Perrier-Jouet Chef de Cave, Herve Deschamps.

Sutcliffe comments, "It is virtually impossible to assign a value to the 1825 vintage – we`ve never seen anything like it on the market! This was, quite simply, the opportunity of a lifetime tasting such exceptional, historic vintages."

The tasting also included the renowned "PJ 1874" – heralded as the most expensive champagne in the world when it was sold at a world famous auction in 1885.

The private event was organized to mark the future release of the House`s inaugural vintage of the 21st Century, Perrier-Jouet Millesime 2002.

The famous singer Madonna has announced the dates for the next leg of her hugely successful Sticky & Sweet tour. The singer, 50, will take to the stage at London`s O2 Arena on July 4.

Despite initially wrapping up the tour in December, Madonna will make stops in cities including Manchester, Milan, Barcelona, Copenhagen and Warsaw before ending in Ljubljana on August 20.

The Material Girl hitmaker will be supported by Paul Oakenfold on the 2009 leg of the the Sticky & Sweet tour, which is already the �1 Biggest Grossing tour in history for a solo artist.

Cancer-stricken actor Patrick Swayze will be co-writing a book with his wife, Lisa. According to Justjared, the couple will be taking offers this week for – what`s rumored to be - an inspirational-type tome.

The 56-year-old actor is currently undergoing a very public battle with pancreatic cancer.

The "Curious Case of Benjamin Button" picked up the most honors, racking up 13 noms including best pic. "Slumdog Millionaire" followed with 10 nods.

Brad Pitt earned a Best Actor nomination ("Benjamin Button") and Angelina Jolie picked up a nod for Best Actress ("Changeling").

Heath Ledger was nominated for Supporting Actor on the one-year anniversary of his death for "The Dark Knight".

Rolls-Royce achieves record result in Russia

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has seen its 2008 sales in Russia increase by more than 50 per cent. The country was confirmed as the company`s number one market in Continental Europe and Rolls Royce Motor Cars Moscow celebrated the fourth successive sales increase since it became the official dealership for Russia in 2004.

David Archibald, Regional Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Europe and South Africa, said: "It is very rewarding to see the expanded appeal of the Phantom family while it is still the most exclusive choice in the automotive industry. This result is particularly strong considering the challenging economic environment that all manufacturers faced in the second half of 2008."

Tatiana Zhilina, Managing Director, Rolls Royce Motor Cars Moscow, commented: "We are delighted to have had another record year. The sustained demand, particularly for Phantom, and the anticipated first customer deliveries of RR4 in 2010 give reason for a positive business outlook."

Looking ahead, preparations are now fully underway to ready the company for the unveil of a brand new model series, currently named RR4 and complementing the Phantom family, due later this year.

Brad Pitt has nominated for Leading Actor in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button while Angelina Jolie received a nod for Best Lead Actress for her role in director Clint Eastwood`s Changeling.

Slumdog Millionaire and Benjamin Button both led with 11 nominations each.
