"Titanic" by Romain Jerome

The source of inspiration for the watches from the DNA of Famous Legends collection by the Swiss manufacturer Romain Jerome has become the well-known legend of these days.

The famous ship Titanic sank in 1912 in the northern waters of the Atlantic Ocean inspired designers for creation of the models Titanic-DNA.

The glass of the case is connected with rusty steel obtained from the place of shipwreck from the depth of 3,840 meters.

This material was delivered by the shipyard Harland&Wolff from Belfast where Titanic was built 100 years ago.

The second hand`s design resembles counters installed on the steam engines of the ship. The masters of the watch making of the Romain Jerome House have developed the process of rust stabilization allowing to protect the interior mechanisms from corrosion.
