The Ilse Liepa`s dance school LondonBodySchool celebrated its first anniversary. For such a short period of existence it established a reputation as one of the most attractive and dynamic studios of culture and creativity in the sphere of music, fashion, painting, design, photography and, of course, dance.
Ilse Liepa, the foundress of LondonBodySchool together with Maria Subbotovskaya surprised their guests with the very original programme. They succeeded in creation of the home and cosy atmosphere and illusion of the children`s freedom. The school`s decoration stylized a la 1920-40s played a significant part as well as the variety of the flexible dance impersonations and musical forms. Celebrities were often seen on the dance floor. In breaks between improvisations and childish escapades they relished hand-made chocolate candies. Tatyana Vedeneeva and Evgenya Krylova tried the perfect champagne MUMM and gladly posed in front of photographers creating ballet scenes.
The most popular accordion player in Serbia discussed all the refinements of their profession with his colleague Petr Dranga and looking at the happy guests was ready to play stirring music of any times and genres till all hours.
The fun continued till late in the night. The bursts of laughter were heard near Marina Golub again and again, because almost every phrase of her was an aphorism. The silence imposed only for the time when she presented her professional gift for the guests – Don Juan by David Samoylov, and afterwards it was broken by a storm of applause.
The collection by Vladimir Klavikho-Telepnev who could personally comment his works of the art photography made a deep and vivid impression. Yana Laputina and Otari Gogiberidze admired the charming duet of Georgy Migunov and Maria Liepa as well as the brave experiments of the real master of choreography Alexander Gretschenko.
